Rasamadhuri Sherbet

Rasamadhuri Sherbet

This is a Bengali delicacy that I found here that is easy for me to make and so delicious too. I didn't make any changes to the original recipe. It was so delicious and refreshing. Here goes the recipe.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1 cup Mango Juice
  • ½ cup Orange Juice
  • 1 cup Cold Milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Few drops of Vanilla Essence
  • Few drops of Lemon Juice
Preparation:
  1. Mix all the ingredients and blend in a mixer.
  2. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
  3. It is that simple and refreshing for the hot summer.

Rasamadhuri Sherbet

This sherbet goes to RCI-Bengal being hosted by Sandeepa of Bong Mom’s Cook Book and to Fun ’n’ Sun being hosted by Easy Crafts of Simple Indian Food.

Gosh, looks so nice. It also has a nice sound to it. I think I like all Bengali food names. because I am seeing so many pretty names in the blogosphere. Even before reading the post, I am falling in love with all these Bengali recipes, just by reading the names! :-) bookmarked your recipe. will try soon.

Have only seen the name 'Rasmadhuri' in the Bengali sweets section - may have eaten it too, not sure. Never knew it existed in sherbet form.

What a pretty drink, and I love that you combined three different fruit juices. The lemon must add just that tiny hint of added complexity.

Excellent! I'm a huge fan of sherbet having given up ice cream for it, but never thought of a sherbet type beverage!
